My name is Mijon, I'm 21 years old and I am a self-taught makeup artist and cosmetology student. I grew up in a loving household in Long Beach, CA with both parents and 4 sisters which pretty much shaped me into the person I am today; a lover of Christ and beauty addict. Being that I have 4 sisters, they were constantly asking me to style their hair and makeup, and that is where my passion was born.
I am an advocate of self-acceptance and love above everything else. This blog is an avenue to charge women to believe that beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. YOU control what you believe beauty is, meaning you may not fit into others' box of beauty and that is okay. "Beauty" has such a loose interpretation and it's all about perception.
Aside from anything beauty related, writing is one of the many other things that excite me and this is just an amazing way to merge my two passions together. The content on this blog will consist of product reviews, DIY projects, how-tos, lookbooks, YouTube videos and I will also be dropping gems along the way and informing you ladies on the things I personally love.
